Get ready for an historic seven-hour rock extravaganza packed with the biggest names in the biz, both locally and internationally.

Singha and Mobile Easy by IEC proudly present “A Big Rock Day” at the outdoor Active Square venue at Impact Muangtong Thani on Sunday March 27.

Headlining the show is Avril Lavigne , whose hit single “Complicated” rocked all way to the top of the charts around the world, earning her the title “The Princess of Punk Rock”. With an amazing voice and the ability to write her own music, Avril made her debut at the age of 17 and has maintained her popularity ever since. She has won MTV Awards, Juno Awards, World Music Awards and Radio Music Awards and was nominated for 8 Grammys. This hard-rocking Canadian is also famous for her sizzling live performances.

Joining Avril are fellow Canadians Simple Plan . This five-member punk rock group have had two big albums plus numerous hits such as “Addicted” and the more recent “Welcome To My Life”. They've been acknowledged by Rolling Stone, Billboard, VH1 and Entertainment Weekly as the next big band to watch.

Moderndog has been the biggest band in Thailand over the past decade. They have maintained their popularity ever since their very first hit single “Korn”. They have a new acoustic live album coming out around the same time as the Big Rock Day.

Pop rock quartet AB Normal is the hottest new band on the Thai music scene. Their hits include “Pud Mai Khoi Keng” and “Gotta Come Home”.

Paradox consists of five Thai guys who got together at a very young age to create their own music and are now one of the most successful indie bands in Thailand. Hits such as “Nong Ple” and “Tad” have rocked audiences nationwide.

Also jamming at the show will be hip-hop trio Thaitanium , the masterminds behind the hit track “Yak Lai”.

Electro punksters Futon have created a buzz in Thailand as well as the UK and Asia with their musical culture clash of East and West. Simon Gilbert, ex-drummer of British super-group Suede, will be jamming with Futon, a band whose members come from the UK, Japan and Thailand.
