The role, starring against Thailand's famous actors, Sarunyoo Wongkrachang and Sinchai Plengpanich, brought her rave reviews; a critic wrote “Marisa, who should be looked upon as a minor national treasure for Thailand, was actually thrilling to watch as Ophelia…her first number was the first one to ring applause from the audience and her curtain call was one of the loudest and most appreciative”.

In 2001 , Marisa played a principal role in “Kiss of The Spider Woman” under the direction of Euthana Mukdasanit. In 2002 , she performed the role of Mary Magdalene in the United Bangkok Artist production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” starring John Rattanaveroj in the title role, and in 2003, starred in the musical, “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, playing the role of the Narrator.

In 1992, Marisa represented Thailand at the Asean Dance Festival and two years later, her performance of an original composition by composer, Jiraphan Angsavanon, “Never Say Goodbye”, won the composer the prestigious Minoro Endoh Award at the Asia Song Festival.

For the Thai pop audience, Marisa is most famous for her recording of Boyd Kosiyabong's hit ballad “Suk Wan Neung” in 2004 and “Keb Dao” on one of Boyd's first albums “Rhythm and Boyd”.
