The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation in cooperation with the Embassy of Switzerland are organizing the concert of the most famous Chamber Music Ensemble from Lucerne , Switzerland “ LUCERNE FESTIVAL STRINGS”.
“ LUCERNE FESTIVAL STRINGS” is the most well known ensemble in Lucerne since its establishment in 1956. This year, it shall also be celebrating the 50 th Anniversary. The orchestra apart from regularly performing concerts in Switzerland , it has toured many countries annually both in Europe , North and South America . Recently, it successfully completed the tour in many major cities in the US , namely, Washington D.C. , Philadelphia , Houston and Atlanta. In 2004, it went on tour to
Argentina, Brazil , Chile , Uruguay , Peru and Ecuador
The concert shall feature, Daniel Dodds, violin and Jonas Iten, cello in Haydn Concerto for Violin in C major and Tchaikovsky Andante Cantabile for Cello and Strings op. 11 respectively.
