Bangkok Bank and Settrade.com are proud to present Maestro Bundit Ungrangsee and the International Orchestra of Italy in a grand evening of classical music For the Love of Art . Highlights include 4 Italian Opera Stars performing famous arias (from Tosca, Turandot, La Traviata, etc) and Beethoven's Eroica Symphony, all under the baton of one of Asia's most celebrated conductors and a 2005 Silapathorn Award recipient, Thailand's own Bundit Ungrangsee. |
Celebrating young Thai talent, the concert will also feature several talented young Thai musicians, including pianist Tarin Supprakorn, winner of the Thailand National Concerto Competition, performing Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto, and a group of select string players, Dr.Sax Chamber Orchestra winner of international youth chamber music competition in Switzerland, performing La Gazza Ladra Overture with the orchestra.
A portion of proceeds from the concert will be used to start a scholarship fund for young talented Thai musicians.
