วงออร์เคสตรา อินเตอร์นาซิโอนาเล ดิตาเลีย ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ พ . ศ . 2529 และได้ออกแสดงซิมโฟนีคอนเสิร์ตและร่วมงานกับคณะโอเปรา สมาคมคอนเสิร์ตต่างๆ มากกว่า 600 งาน รวมถึงการเข้าร่วมงานเทศกาลทั้งในและต่างประเทศ เคยได้รับรางวัลยูโรเปียนไพร์ซทางด้านวัฒนธรรมในฐานะวงซิมโฟนีออร์เคสตรา
ใน พ.ศ. 2540
วงเคยทำงานร่วมกับวาทยกรชื่อดังมากมายและศิลปินหลายคน เช่น มุทเทอร์ , อัคคาโด , อูกี , เปราเฮีย , เบลล์ , เชลเลนแบร์เกอร์ , ควอร์ตา , ราคลิน , อิกอร์ โอสตาร์ค , รัมพอล , ทูเรค รวมถึงนักร้องอย่าง ปาวาร็อตติ , คาร์เรรัส , บรูสัน , เบลค เป็นต้น
การแสดงในกรุงเทพฯ ครั้งนี้ บัณฑิต อึ้งรังษี จะเป็นผู้ควบคุมวง บัณฑิตเคยทำหน้าที่ควบคุมวงออร์เคสตราชั้นนำต่างๆ มากมาย เช่น วงออร์เคสตราเซนต์ลุกส์ที่นิวยอร์ก ยูทาซิมโฟนี ลอสแองเจลิส ฟิลฮาโมนิก ออร์เคสตรา และล่าสุดคือวงลา เฟนิซ เธียเตอร์ที่เวนิส ในเดือนกันยายน พ . ศ . 2545 เขาได้รับเกียรติบัตรและเป็นผู้ชนะเลิศร่วมในการแข่งขัน Maazel-Vilar International Conductors ' Competition ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่คาร์เนกีฮอลในนิวยอร์ก |
The Orchestra Internazionale d?Italia was founded in 1986, and ever since has given more than 600 symphonic concerts and opera performances for several theatres, concert associations and festivals in Italy and abroad. It has been awarded the ?European Prize for Culture for a Symphonic Orchestra? in 1997.
The orchestra has been conducted by leading conductors and has collaborated with artists like Mutter, Accardo, Ughi, Perahia, Bell , Schellenberger, Quarta, Rachlin, Igor Oistrakh, Rampal, Tureck and singers like Pavarotti, Carreras, Bruson, Blake, etc.
In Bangkok it will be conducted by Bundit Ungrangsee, whose career spans the five continents. He has appeared in front of leading orchestras such as Orchestra of St. Luke?s in New York , Utah Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and most recently, the prestigious La Fenice Theatre in Venice . In September 2002 Ungrangsee was named laureate and co-winner in the inaugural Maazel-Vilar International Conductors? Competition, held at Carnegie Hall in New York City .
