This three-act opera by Giacomo Puccini is based on a love story by H. Murger Scenes from the Life of Boheme (Scenes de la vie de Boheme). The romantic Puccini score will sweep you away and transport you to Paris where this production is set.

Rodolfo the poet falls in love with Mimi, and Marcello the painter has fallen in love with Musetta, an opera singer and ?lady of the evening?. Rodolfo and Mimi have a short period of happiness but separate because he worries their poverty will worsen her tuberculosis and he is jealous of her flirtations. Some months later, Mimi is very ill and returns to the home Rodolfo shares with his friends. The two reminisce about their first days together. She dies quietly.

Staging the opera is the National Opera House of Belarus. The performance will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra conducted by Viacheslav Cherncho.
