โอเปรา 2 องก์ ผลงานของวูล์ฟกัง อะมาเดอุส โมซาร์ท เปิดการแสดงครั้งแรกที่ Theatre and Der Wieden กรุงเวียนนา เมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2334 โอเปราเรื่องนี้ประสพความสำเร็จอย่างรวดเร็วจากบทเพลงที่มี ความสนุกสนานและเนื้อเรื่องเบาสมอง ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวของเจ้าชายสูงศักดิ์ ที่ต้องเสาะหาความรักและเกียรติยศ และยังเป็นการผูกแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับความเป็นพี่น้องและ ความดีปะทะความชั่วเข้าไปในเนื้อเรื่องด้วย นอกจากนี้แล้วยังแฝงเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับเวทมนต์ลึกลับ ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์สื่อถึงสมาคมลับ Mason (สมาคมลับที่สมาชิกของสมาคมจะคอยช่วยเหลือ ซึ่งกันและกัน และมักจะมีพิธีการลึกลับ) ความขบขันตลอดทั้งเรื่อง บวกกับบทพูดและบทร้องนั้น แม้จะไม่เหมือนกับโอเปราทั่วๆ ไป แต่ก็เป็นคำพูดที่งดงาม มีความหมายลึกซื้งทุกคำ ถือเป็นผลงานโอเปราที่ไม่อาจหาใครเทียบเท่าได้

This two act opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was first performed at the Theatre and De Wieden, Vienna, September 30, 1791. The opera became an instant success for its whimsical musical motifs and light-hearted story. The plot centers on a noble prince’s (Tamino’s) search for love and honour and interweaves themes of brotherhood and good versus evil. It also features the mystical rites and symbols of the Masonic movement, to which both Mozart and his librettist, Emanuel Schikaneder, belonged. Its broad comedy and combination of spoken dialogue and singing is unlike opera yet it is grand in every sense of the world. An unbeatable musical experience, from its fairy-tale story to its lyrical arias, trios and choral singing Sergey Gavrilov takes on Tamino, while Valdimir Kopyutov plays Papageno, the bird-catcher. Pamina is sung by Albina Gabidullina. The conductor for the evening is Rober Luther.
