คณะทูบิงเงิน แชมเบอร์ ออร์เคสตรา ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ พ . ศ . 2500 โดยเฮลมุต คาลเกเยร์ เคยจัดทัวร์คอนเสิร์ตมาแล้วถึง 63 ครั้ง 90 ประเทศทั่วทั้ง 5 ทวีป ซึ่งรวมถึงการแสดงที่ยูคาริสติก เวิลด์ คองเกรส ที่โบโกตา การแข่งขันโอลิมปิกที่เม็กซิโก งานเฉลิมฉลอง 200 ปีสหรัฐอเมริกา และร่วมในงานการไปเยือนแอฟริกา เอเชีย และอเมริกา อย่างเป็นทางการของประธานาธิบดีแห่งสหพันธรัฐเยอรมนี นอกจากนี้ ทูบิงเงิน แชมเบอร์ ออร์เคสตรายังเคยร่วมบรรเลงกับนักดนตรีที่มีชื่อเสียงมากมาย ได้แก่ Maurice Andre, Heinz Holliger, Trio Jacques Loussier, Nathan Milstein, Aurele Nicolet, Pierre Rampal, Mstislaw Rostropowitshc, Henryk Szeryng, Reinhold Friedrich, Peter Wispelwey และ Ara Malikian

Tubingen Chamber Orchestra Germany

The Tubingen Chamber Orchestra was established in1957 by Helmut Calgeer and has performed in many countries: 63 tours to 90 countries in all five continents. These include performing at Eucharistic World Congress in Bogota , the Olympic Games in Mexico , the Bicentenary of the USA , official visits of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany to Africa , Asia and America . The orchestra has also played with famous musicians like: Maurice Andre, Heinz Holliger, Trio Jacques Loussier, Nathan Milstein, Aurele Nicolet, Pierre Rampal, Mstislaw Rostropowitsch, Henryk Szeryng, Reinhold Friedrich, Peter Wispelwey and Ara Malikian.

Gudni A. Emilsson, its Artistic Director, has won numerous national and international awards including 1st Prize in Biel / Bienne Switzerland 1992, the Artist Prize 2002 of the Masaryk University of Prague and the Second Prize by Masterplayers ? Competition Lugano 1994. In 2006 he was awarded a Special Award by the ?Foundation LIND? in Iceland . He has also received an award from the Richard Wagner Foundation and the Herbert von Karajan Foundation Salzburg.
