พิธิเปิดเทศกาลวัฒนธรรมฝรั่งเศสครั้งที่ ๓ นี้จะจัดขึ้นที่สยามพารากอน แหล่ง แฟชั่นที่เพิ่งเปิดตัวแต่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยจะนำเอาผลงานเด่นๆ ของสี่ดีไซเนอร์ ทีเป็นที่รู้จักกันอย่างดีมานำเสนอให้เห็นถึงความปราณีต และ ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของแต่ละชิ้นงาน และเพื่อให้งานในครั้งนี้ออกมาอย่าง สมบูรณ์แบบที่สุด ทางสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย และ สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพขอให้นิตยสารลิปส์ และ Yves Sabourin ภัณฑารักษ์ ของนิทรรศการที่เพิ่งจะจบไปเมื่อเดือนมกราคมที่ผ่านมา ( Dialogue, Christian Lacroix ) ร่วมกันจัดการแสดงแฟชั่นโชว์ ที่เป็นการพบปะกันระหว่าง วงการแฟชั่นฝรั่งเศสและไทย

The choice of presenting a fashion show featuring young French and Thai designers underlines the main philosophies that ‘La Fête’ has had since it was created: the mixing and melting of two different cultures, excellence, singularity and innovation of the projects on display.

Three young French designers and one guest will present their latest collections during an elegant and amazing fashion performance. The refinement and finesse of French fashion will set the tone of charm and beauty for the 2006 ‘La Fête’ festivities at one of Bangkok ’s hippest venues, Siam Paragon Center .

To conceive this very special show, the French Embassy and the Alliance Française requested the help of LIPS Magazine, together with Yves Sabourin, the curator of the successful exhibition ‘Dialogue, Christian Lacroix’ recently staged at the Jim Thompson House. Indeed, no one other than LIPS and Yves Sabourin could create such a perfect dialogue between French and Thai design, fashion and performance, as well as elegance and innovation.
