นับเป็นโอกาสดีอีกครั้งที่เราจะได้เห็นการผสมผสานผลงาน
หลากประเภทผ่านการจัดแสดงสามแบบ โดยจะเป็นผลงานของ
เอ็นกิ บิลัล นักวาดการ์ตูนและนักสร้างภาพยนตร์ชาวฝรั่งเศส

งานแสดงดังกล่าวได้แก่ งานนิทรรศการที่จัดขึ้นเป็นพิเศษสำหรับ
“La Fête” คือการฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่องล่าสุดของเขา \Immortel (อมตะ) และ การแสดง Cinémonstre ที่ผสานภาพและเสียงดนตรีสด ซึ่งจะนำผู้เข้าชมดำดิ่ง สู่โลกที่หมุนคว้าง สั่นไหว ปี่ยมสีสันและ เต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ความรู้สึก
ผู้ชมจะได้พบกับงานที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากโลกอนาคตและ
สัมผัสกับรูปแบบการวาดภาพที่ไม่สามารถลอกเลียนแบบได้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น
หญิงเปลือย น้ำตาสีน้ำเงิน ปลาสเตอร์สีแดงบนเข่า เป็นต้น

Once more, crossbreeding of arts and genres will be
celebrated through three events which will present the work
of Enki Bilal, a famous French comic strip writer and filmmaker.

Each of them, specifically prepared for La Fête, the projection
of his latest film Immortal and Cinémonstre a performance
combining pictures and live music mix, will lead the viewer into
a tortured, rough, colorful and emotional world.
One will discover here then a futurist and striking universe to discover,
with a very specific graphic style: naked women, blue tears, red bandages on the knee…

นิทรรศการงานแสดงผลงานของเอ็นกิ บิลัล นิทรรศการครั้งนี้นำเสนอผลงาน ส่วนหนึ่งของเอ็นกิ บิลัล โดยจะมีทั้งภาพต้นฉบับของหนังสือการ์ตูน ภาพประกอบ ภาพพิมพ์และภาพวาด ถือเป็นงานนิทรรศการที่สม กับการรวบรวมผลงานในอดีต เป็นการจัดลำดับความทรงจำที่สร้างสรรค์ จากแสงสว่างและเงามืด อันเป็นความทรงจำของศิลปิน

กลับมานำแสนอใหม่ เขากล้าก้าวข้ามกฎเกณฑ์ของรูปแบบของตน
เพื่อนำเสนองานสร้างสรรค์ในรูปแบบใหม่ ที่เรียกว่า “Cinémonstre” เป็นครั้งแรกในกรุงเทพฯ หลังจากได้นำผลงานประเภทการหยิบยืมตัวละคร ในจินตนิยายมาสะท้อนโลก อนาคตสู่วงการภาพยนตร์ และมอบตัวตน ให้แก่ตัวละครในการ์ตูนที่เขาวาด เอ็นกิ บิลัลผสมงานภาพยนตร์เรื่องยาว สามเรื่องของตนเข้าด้วยกันจนได้ผลงานภาพตัดต่อที่ไม่เหมือนใคร เขาจะใส่ท่วงทำนองเพลงบรรเลงงานเลี้ยงแปลกประหลาดของภาพ
ในแบบสามมิติกับนักแสดงจริงๆ พร้อมๆ กับเล่นกับมนุษย์แอนดรอยด์ ซึ่งตัวละคร ที่สิงสู่อยู่ในงานภาพยนตร์ของเขา โก-รอง เวชโวดา จะด้นสดเพลงประกอบภาพตัดต่อ โดยนำกระบวนการแยกโครงสร้าง ก่อนสร้างใหม่มาใช้ เพื่อให้ผลที่ออกมาเป็นที่ตะลึงตะลาน หลังจากการแสดง จะมีการพูดคุยเสวนากับ โก-รอง เวชโวดา และ เอ็นกิ บิลัล

โก-รอง เวชโวดา นักประพันธุ์เพลง นักกีตาร์และนักร้อง โก-รอง เวชโวดา สร้างสรรค์การแสดงบนเวที นิทรรศการ งานเดินแบบแฟชั่นและ ภาพยนตร์โฆษณา นอกจากนั้น ยังเป็นผู้แต่งเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์และ ภาพยนตร์โทรทัศน์ รวมทั้ง “โตเกียว มูน” และ “Immortel” (อมตะ) รวมทั้ง “Si je t’oublie, Sarajevo” ของ อาร์โนด์ เซลิญัค

เอ็นกิ บิลัล
เกิดเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1951 ที่กรุงเบลเกรด ในยูโกสลาเวีย เอ็นกิ บิลัล
ย้ายถิ่นฐานมายังกรุงปารีส เมื่อ ปี ค.ศ. 1960 หลังจากเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนศิลปะ
เขาพิมพ์ผลงานชิ้นแรกของตนในหนังสือพิมพ์ Pilote เมื่ออายุ 21 ปี ในปี ค.ศ. 1975 หนังสือรวมเล่มอัลบั้มแรกของเขาคือ La Croisière des Oubliés
ออกวางแผง หลังจากนั้นเขาเริ่มทำงานเดี่ยว และอีกห้าปีต่อมาก็ออกผลงาน

The exhibition presents some of Enki Bilal’s original comics, drawings,
lithographies and paintings. A kind of retrospective, the recollection
of the artist’s memory with its bright and dark sides.

Immortal – Cinema – June 18th at 8.00 pm – SF World – 102 minutes
Within the framework of the French Film Festival, Enki Bilal’s latest film Immortel, ad vitam is presented, with Thai subtitles. A free adaptation from his comic strip La Foire aux Immortels, this fantasy fiction truly represents the graphic universe of the artist.

As the only filmmaker who can adapt his own pieces of art,
Enki Bilal disrupts with daring his own stylistic codes and presents
for the first time in Bangkok a new kind of creation, Cin?monstre.
After screening the retro-futurist universe of his albums and giving
life to their heroes, Enki Bilal remixes his three feature films and
creates a unique collage. He conducts a strange 3D picture show
with real actors while playing with the characters who haunt the
universe of his films, the humanoids. By using a soundtrack
deconstruction-reconstruction process, Goran Vejvoda improvises
live on the montage to come up with a stunning result.
The projection will be followed by a debate with Goran Vejvoda
and Enki Bilal.

Goran Vejvoda
Composer, guitarist and singer, Goran Vejvoda creates shows,
exhibitions, fashion shows, and advertising films. He also composes
for cinema and TV among which Tykho Moon and
Immortel by Enki Bilal and Si je t’oublie, Sarajevo
(If I forget you, Sarajevo) by Arnaud Selignac.

Enki Bilal
Enki Bilal was born in Yugoslavia in 1951 and went to live in Paris in 1960. After studying Fine Arts, he publishes his first story at the age of 21 in the magazine Pilote. His first comic strip, La Croisi?re des Oubliés
(the Cruise of the Forgotten), comes out in 1975. He starts solo with the work of art which will bring him the recognition of both readers and critics five years later: he Nikopol trilogy. In 1987, he won the best book award at the annual comic strip festival held at Angoul?me in Southwest France.
