ปัจจุบัน ภาพยนตร์ฝรั่งเศสได้รับการตอบรับในประเทศไทย
อย่างไม่เคยปรากฏ มาก่อน ด้วยจำนวนภาพยนตร์ฝรั่งเศสที่จัดฉาย
ตามโรงภาพยนตร์ต่างๆ เพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ความหลากหลาย และความรุ่มรวย ของภาพยนตร์ฝรั่งเศส ตลอดจนการสะท้อนภาพสังคมอย่างถูกต้องและ
ลึกซึ้ง รวมไปถึงการมอบความบันเทิง
ในเทศกาลครั้งนี้ มีการคัดสรรภาพยนตร์ 10 เรื่อง
ที่เพิ่งเข้าฉายใน โรงภาพยนตร์ ฝรั่งเศส ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2548-2550 และไม่เคยจัดฉาย ในประเทศไทย
โดยแบ่งออกเป็นหลากหลายประเภท ตั้งแต่แนวสืบสวนสอบ สวน แนวชีวิต แนวตลก
จนถึงภาพยนตรแนว์สยองขวัญ วามพยายาม ในนำเสนอความหลากหลายนี้ มาพร้อมกับความมุ่งมั่น ในคุณภาพที่คัดสรร จากภาพยนตร์ซึ่งผ่านการคัดเลือก และได้รับรางวัลในงานเทศกาล
ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติมาก่อน
เช่น เทศกาลภาพยนตร์นานาชาติเมืองคานส์ กรุงเบอร์ลิน
เมืองเวนิช และเมืองปูซาน จากภาพยนตร์เหล่านี้ ผู้ชมในกรุงเทพฯ
จะได้รับชมผลงานของผู้มีชื่อเสียงในวงการภาพยนตร์ฝรั่งเศส ไม่ว่าจะเป็น
เฌราร์ด์ เดอปาร์ดิเยอ (La mome)
อแล็ง เรสเนส์ (Coeur) ชาร์ล็อตต์ ร็อมปลิง (Immortal) ฟาบริซ ลุคชินี (Moli?re์) นาตาลี ไบย์ (Mon fils ? moi) และคนอื่นๆ ทั้งนี้ ด้วยความมุ่งหวังให้ผู้ชมได้สัมผัส

Now that French cinema is successfully welcomed in
Thailand with an increasing number of French films
shown on Thai screens, the objective of the Bangkok French Film
Festival is to promote the variety and the richness of French contemporary
cinema, its analysis of French society and its entertaining qualities.
For its fourth edition, the Bangkok French Film Festival settles down at
SF World Cinema. Between June 9th and 20th, 11 recent films, 2 with
Thai subtitles, most of them released in France in 2006-2007 and never
screened in Thailand, are presented to the Bangkok audience.
The film selection favors eclectism with a wide range of genre : comedy,
thriller, fantasy and drama. This search for diversity goes along with
a search for quality with films selected and awarded in the most prominent
international films festivals : Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Pusan. Thanks
to our selection, the Bangkok audience gets the largest possible overview
of French contemporary cinema and is able to enjoy the talent of French
artists such as G?rard Depardieu (La M?me), Alain Resnais ( Private fears in public spaces),
Charlotte Rampling
(Immortal ), Fabrice Lucchini ( Moli?re), Nathalie Baye (My son ), etc. |
