In partnership with the Bed Supperclub, the French Flair celebrates its fourth edition this year. The new generation of DJ’s and producers of the French electro scene lands in Bangkok.

โจอาคิม (อัลบั้ม versatile/tigersushi)
โจอาคิม เป็นศิลปินผู้มีความสามารถหลายด้าน ที่กำลังโดดเด่นในฐานะคลื่นลูกใหม่ของวงการดนตรีอ็คโทนิกฝรั่งเศส หลังจากเรียนเปียโนจากอับเดล ราฮ์มัน เอล บาชา เขาได้ค้นพบเสียงใหม่ๆ ของดนตรีอิเล็คโทร เมื่อเพื่อนร่วมชั้นเรียนทิ้งเครื่องซินเธไซเซอร์ในห้องนอนของเขา หลังการทำงานไม่กี่เดือน < Tigersushi > อัลบั้มชุดแรกของโจอาคิม ก็ออกวางแผงกับฝ่าย Future Talk ของบริษัทเพลง Versatile records

< Tigersushi > เป็นที่สนใจอย่างรวดเร็ว และโจอาคิมปลุกความสงสัยใคร่รู้ของคนในวงการดนตรีอิเล็คโทร หนึ่งปีต่อมา ผู้มีชื่อเสียงต่างๆ เช่น 4 Hero, Next Evidence ou DJ Mehdi ได้ฟังผลงานแจ๊ซอิเล็คโทรนิกของเขา และ Tigersushi Remixed ก็ถือกำเนิดขึ้น
ในปี พ.ศ. 2544 เขาก่อตั้งบริษัทเพลง Tigersushi และนำเสนอผลงานของ Panico, Principles of Geometry, Volga Select และออกผลงานรวมเพลงที่มีชื่อเสียงมากมาย เช่น More God Dam Music (MGDM) และ Kill the Dj โดย Ivan Smagghe.

ในช่วงสามปีหลังจากออกอัลบั้ม "Fant?mes" เขารีมิกซ์ผลงานของคนดนตรีระดับนานาชาติ (Tiga, Ivan Smagghe, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Tiefschwarz, Chateau Flight, Fisherspooner, Max Berlin, Air,...) และในปี พ.ศ. 2549 โจอาคิมกลับมาพร้อมผลงานชิ้นใหม่ Monsters and Silly songs

JOAKIM (Versatile / Tigersushi)
After the release of his album “Fantômes” in 2003, Joakim was spotted as one of the major figure of the French electronic music scene. He owes this immediate success to his variety of taste, his collection of eclectic records and his original background: listening to music since his childhood, he learned piano with the romantic master concertist Abdel Rahman El Bacha. As he was a teenage fan of independent rock, he discovered the new sound of electronic music as a school buddy forgot his synthesizer in his room. It only took him a few months to send his demos: his album < Tigersushi > was then produced by Future Talk, a experimental division of the Versatile music label. This brilliant opus revisits the jazzy references of the 1960's. A year later, his tracks were remixed by musicians such as 4 Hero, Next Evidence or DJ Medhi.

In 2001, he founded his own label named Tigersushi and since then he has produced projects like KIM, panico, Principles of Geometry, Volga Select, or More God Dam Music.
Joakim has become a reference of the French underground scene. His multiple talents- piano at the conservatory, studies at a famous French Business School, and then performances on the techno dancefloors- gave birth to his latest album, < Monsters & Silly Songs >

tHe pEneLOpe[s] (CITIZEN RECORD)
tHe pEneLOpe[s] เป็นศิลปินคู่ฝรั่งเศส-ฟินแลนด์ ตั้งวงขึ้นในศตวรรษที่ 21 ปักหลักทำงานที่กรุงปารีส ได้รับอิทธิพลทางดนตรีจากงานโพสต์-พังค์ยุค 80 (Fiction/Factory/Mute/Beggars Banquet/4AD) งานดิสโก้จากเสียงสังเคราะห์ ในยุค 90 ดนตรีอิเลคโทร-เตค ของเยอรมันในยุค 00 รวมถึงงานวรรณกรรม (K.Mansfield, S.De Beauvoir, C.Delaume) พวกเขาเรียบเรียงผลงานเพลงชิ้นแรกๆ ด้วยความเคลิบเคล้มไหลหลงที่ยังคงอยู่จนถึงปัจจุบัน ต่อกล่องให้จังหวะกลอง และโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งท่วงทำนองที่มีจิตวิญญาณอันแท้จริง แนวการทำงานของพวกเขาเป็นการเล่นกับเพลงเต้นรำ ดนตรีที่รุนแรง จับต้องได้และเจิดจรัส

tHe pEneLOpe[s] (Citizen Records)
The duet tHe pEneLOpe[s] originated in the encounter of two Parisians, one from Finnish origins. As they shared some passions, they decided to drop their studies, law for one, medical school for the other, in order to devote themselves to music. They make up their first tracks on analogical instruments and vintage guitars. Deeply vindictive, their first production < Purity > joined the universe of Nick Cave and Morrissey, one of the figures of The Smiths. Their compilation < Together songs > , a lot more contemporary, was filled with unprecedented rock energy and sent them on a world tour.
Distinguishing themselves from an electronic scene dominated by other sounds, their taste for spontaneous melodies, even naïve, enabled them to work with great names. They composed for < Liquid Architecture >, the musical project of the director of The < Palais de Tokyo > (Tokyo palace in Paris) and they have been supported financially by Agnès b.
Their latest album < The arrogance of simplicity > invites < guests > to sing on their bouncing tracks : Dierdre Dubois and DJ Morpheus.

มิสซิลล์ (Discograph)
มิสซิลล์ ดีเจสาวผีมือจัดจ้านกำลังสร้างความตื่นตะลึงมากที่สุดในขณะนี้ < Mash Up > งานมิกซ์อัลบั้มแรงของเธอที่บันทึกเสียงเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2549 สะท้อนให้เห็นสไตล์อันดุดัน และเสียงจากดนตรีฮิป-ฮอป , เบรก, อิเล็คโทร, กริม, แดนซ์ฮอลล์ และแร็กเก้ อย่างชัดเจน นอกจากจะเป็นดีเจชั้นแนวหน้าแล้ว มิสซิลล์ยังเป็นกราฟฟิกดีไซน์ และเป็นศิลปินงานกราฟฟิติที่มีชื่อเสียงอีกด้วย

ตลอดปี พ.ศ. 2547 มิสซิลล์เปิดแสดงในเทศกาลดนตรีต่างๆ ในฝรั่งเศสและในยุโรป และได้รับเชิญไปสหรัฐอเมริกา (Winter Music Conférence ที่ไมอามี) แคนาดา แอฟริกา อเมริกาใต้ ออสเตรเลียและในทวีปเอเชีย เธอเคยเปิดแสดงร่วมเวทีเดียวกับศิลปินชื่อดังมากมาย เช่น Horace Andy, Coldcut, Laurent Garnier, RZA, Adam F, Carl Craig และ Gang of Four.

มิสซิลล์ใช้เทคนิคเฉพาะตัวที่เธอเชี่ยวชาญสร้างผลงานราวเนรมิต อย่างไม่มีปรานีปราศรัยและไม่เคยปล่อยอะไรให้หลุดรอด หญิงผู้สร้างปรากฏการณ์ใหม่ของฝรั่งเศสคนนี้ จะมาเปิดการแสดงที่กรุงเทพฯ ดังนั้น จึงไม่ควรพลาดเป็นอย่างยิ่ง !

MISSILL (Discograph)
The talented Missill is an independent self-made artist. As a DJ, graphic designer, graffiti artist, she started mixing in 1999 and distinguished herself thanks to her energy and talent at the < Transmusicales de Rennes > festival in 2003 Since then, her hyperactivity has been going on and her first album recorded in 2006 nicely kids around ragga, hip-hop, electro and break beat. The same year, she performed on the biggest French and European festivals, before landing in the USA, Canada, Africa,South America , Australia and Asia.
Her stage mates are Carl Craig, Horace Andy, Jimmy cliff, Laurent Garnier, gang of Four, Supergrass, Sinclair or la Rumeur. The professional press is unanimous : < Following the < Vieilles Charrues > music festival where 10 000 people nearly collectively tripped on her electro-break selection, Missill has now reached the threshold of recognition, after setting the French underground stages on fire for five years… > (Teaser Mag, September 2005)
