Some Proposals for the next future กลับมานำเสนอผลได้ผลเสีย
ทางความคิดและทางการเมืองของการสร้างงานศิลปะในทศวรรษ 70
ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาที่สถาปัตยกรรมเกิดขึ้นมาประหนึ่งเป็นวิธีการช่วย
ให้ผลงานศิลปะรอดพ้นจากสถานะของการเป็นวัตถุแห่งการบริโภค

ปิแอร์ บิสมุธ จึงนำเสนอกระบวนการผลิตผลงานโดยการสร้างผลงานศิลปะ
แนวจัดวางชิ้นหนึ่งที่ตั้งอยู่นิ่งๆ เพื่อเน้นสิ่งที่อยู่รอบๆ ขณะที่ยังคงรักษามิติ ของทัศนศิลป์และจินตนาการที่งดงาม

ทุกวันนี้ข้อเท็จจริงต่างๆ ได้เปลี่ยนไปอย่างสิ้นเชิง สิ่งที่แลกเปลี่ยนกัน
ได้ไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องของตัววัตถุเองอีกต่อไป แต่อาจกล่าวได้ว่าเป็นเรื่อง
ของการเคลื่อนไหวตลอดเวลา การแลกเปลี่ยน และเครือข่ายแห่งการสื่อสาร
ผลงานศิลปะของโลริส เกรโอ และโลร็องต์ มองตารง จึงตั้งคำถามถึงสิ่งที่ไม่มีตัวตนนี้ โดยการพิจารณารูปแบบ ของการส่งต่อข้อมูล งานศิลปะจัดวางของ โลริส เกรโอ เป็นภาชนะง่ายๆ ที่ลอยอยู่ในอากาศ บังคับให้ผู้ชมถอยออกจากความจริง ขณะที่งานวิดีโอของโลร็องต์ มองตารง เป็นการสร้างบทสนทนา ระหว่างเครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์ กับกระบวนความที่ขาดหลักการและเหตุผล

เพื่อตอบสนองข้อเสนอที่ไม่มีตัวตนนี้ ผลงานของ แคลร์ ฟงแตน
เกาะเกี่ยวความเป็นจริงอย่างถึงที่สุด โดยให้แง่คิดถึงกระบวนการแยกแยะ
ความคิดเห็นที่ถูกปลูกฝัง ควบคู่กับการตั้งคำถามถึงความถูกต้องชอบธรรม
ของการแสดงความคิดดังกล่าว ศิลปินไทยสองคนได้รับเชิญมาแลกเปลี่ยน ผลงานกันในโครงการนี้ วิช พิมกาญจนพงษ์ ให้ความสนใจทั้งเทคโนโลยี สารสนเทศยุคใหม่ และการเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในสังคม ขณะที่ อริน รุ่งแจ้ง เป็นเจ้าของผลงาน ที่แสดงออกถึงแนวทางของศิลปะมโนทัศน์ และข้อเท็จจริงทางศาสนา และวัฒนธรรมไทย พื้นที่ของศิลปะในช่วงเวลาที่วัตถุและข้อมูลเคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนถ่ายเร็วรวด
เป็นหัวใจของนิทรรศการนี้

Some proposals for the next future questions the political and conceptual stakes of some artistic practices of the seventies in which architecture was considered one of the ways to allow the piece of art to get away from its image of consumer good.

Thus Pierre Bismuth questions the production of objects by creating a both aesthetic and poetic installation which only exists to highlight what surrounds it. Nowadays things have completely evolved, what can be
exchanged is not necessarily material but can be considered in terms of flow, exchange and communication networks. The art works of Loris Gréaud and Laurent Montaron question about this immateriality while wondering how the information circulates. Loris Gréaud’s installation will lead the viewer to abstract himself from reality whereas Laurent Montaron’s video will gather scientific and irrational tools.

As a response to these immaterial proposals, the Claire Fontaine
group of artists definitely focuses on reality by reflecting
on the dispersion of programmatic statements while questioning their validity. The core of this project is to invite two Thai artists responding to these proposals: Wit Pimkanchanapong interested in the new informatio technologies and urban spaces, and Arin Rungjang, whose work questions at the same time the strategies of conceptual art and the spiritual aspects of Thai culture. The place of the art work at a time of accelerated circulation of goods and information will then be at the center of this exhibition.
