Princesses to perform in ice extravaganza!
Take
seven of the world's most beautiful princesses. Fit
them out in skates and put them on a huge chunk of
ice. What do you get?
The
most stunning live event of the year!
“Disney
on Ice Presents Princess Classics” will be performed
on a huge sheet of ice for 17 shows between March
25 and April 3 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani.
Cinderella,
Jasmine, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Mulan and
Snow White appear together in a live production for
the first time in Disney history. The most dramatic
moments of their stories spanning more than seven
decades are woven together into one magical experience!
This
premier Disney event portrays a tale of triumph over
evil by the strength of heart, humor and hope, as
told through the eyes of the seven princesses. An
ice skating rink will be transformed into a jeweled,
three-storey, revolving castle. As the castle changes,
audiences can travel through the Disney world – from
Cinderella's kingdom, to Jasmine's city of Agrabah,
to Mulan's China. The performance will be filled with
daring synchronized skating and romantic choreography,
glowing costumes and princesses who are inspired by
their dreams.
Feld
Entertainment has created a magnificent production
through an international troupe of more than 40 award-winning
figure skaters under the helm of world-renowned choreographer
Tom Dickson, Emmy Award-Winning lighting designer
Peter Morse, director Jerry Bilik and producer Kenneth
Feld.
The
17 performances of “DTAC celebrates Disney On Ice
presents Princess Classics” are brought to you by
DTAC, Muang Thai Life Assurance, Standard Charter
Nakornthon Bank, Snack Jack, Unif, Mobile Easy by
IEC, Channel 3, Dusit Thani Hotel, Virgin BEC-TERO
Radio Services (Thailand), Post Today, UBC, Central
Department Stores, Central Pattana, Impact Arena Muang
Thong Thani and BEC-Tero Entertainment. Sponsors can
book tickets from the 18th of January to the 3rd of
February 2005.
After
that, tickets are available from February 4 at Thai
Ticket Master counters at Chidlom, Ladphrao, Pinkloa
and Bangna Central department store branches. They
can also be bought at Big C Ramkhamhaeng. Ticket prices
are 800/600/400 and 200 Baht for weekend shows and
750/550/350 and 150 Baht for weekday shows. For more

A
fairy tale :
Exotic and fiery,
princess Jasmine yearns to leave her father's castle
and explore other worlds. She gets her wish when a
diamond in the rough comes disguised as Prince Ali
to take her on a magic carpet ride.
 Sweet
and innocent, Briar Rose knows she shouldn't be talking
to this handsome man' but she feels she's met him
before. Somehow, the day has become the happiest of
Sleeping Beauty's life.
 Sebastian
tells the lovely mermaid Ariel, “Down her in your
home!” But her heart tells her she wants to be on
land, with Prince Eric. To make that happen, through,
she must transform…from a sea maiden into a human!
 Her
name, Mulan, means “magnolia”, yet there is more to
her than grace and beauty. She prepares for battle,
her family's honor at stake. A determined warrior,
Mulan hopes she has the courage and strength to bring
her family good fortune.
 The
fair Snow White turns work into play for her friends
the Seven Dwarfs. But, oh, she dream of someday meeting
her handsome prince.
Brave and beautiful, graceful and strong, the spirited
Belle never expected to fall in love with one so brutish
as the Beast. Yet, dancing with him, she discovers,
is almost like dancing with prince!
